مقدمه: خودکار آمدی به درک فرد از مهارت ها و توانایی هایش در انجام موفقیت آمیز عملکردی شایسته تاکید دارد. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی خودکارآمدی مدیریت علایم مرتبط با شیمی درمانی و عوامل مرتبط با آن در زنان مبتلا به سرطان پستان انجام شد.
روش کار: مطالعه حاضر به شیوه توصیفی-تحلیلی از نوع مقطعی و با حجم نمونه ۱۵۰ نفر به روش نمونه گیری آسان، در زنان مبتلا به سرطان پستان مراجعه کننده به مراکز آموزشی درمانی و پژوهشی ارومیه در سال ۱۳۹۵ انجام شد. ابزار گردآوری داده ها شامل پرسش نامه خصوصیات دموگرافیک و خودکار آمدی مدیریت علایم سرطان پستان مرتبط با شیمی درمانی (SMSES-BC) که حاوی خرده مقیاس های دستیابی به حل مسئله، مدیریت علایم مربوط به شیمی درمانی و مدیریت اختلالات عاطفی و بین فردی بود . تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS نسخه ۲۰ انجام شد.
یافته ها: بیشترین تعداد بیماران در محدوده سنی ۴۹-۴۱ سال بودند. کمترین نمرات در حیطه اختلالات عاطفی و بین فردی و بیشترین نمرات در حیطه مدیریت علایم مرتبط با شیمی درمانی به دست آمد. میانگین کل نمره خودکارآمدی مرتبط با شیمی درمانی ۲۵/۴۰±۱۶۷/۹۶ به دست آمد. رابطه معنی داری بین سن (۰/۲۴P=)، وضعیت اقتصادی (۰/۰۰۶P=)، میزان تحصیلات، وضعیت تاهل و وضعیت زندگی (۰/۰۰۱P=) با خودکارآمدی مدیریت علایم مشاهده شد.
بحث و نتیجه گیری: تلاش های مداخله ای برای ارتقا میزان خود کارآمدی مدیریت علایم و به ویژه مدیریت اختلالات عاطفی و بین فردی در این بیماران مهم و ضروری می باشد.
