مقدمه: بارداری ناخواسته این دوران را با ترس، نگرانی و اضطراب بیشتر همراه کرده است و مشکلات زیادی برای مادر و جنین ایجاد می‌کند. هدف این پژوهش مقایسه وضعیت سلامت روان بین دو گروه بارداری خواسته و ناخواسته در زنان باردار زیر پوشش مراکز بهداشتی درمانی شهر همدان در سال ۱۳۹۵ است.
روش کار: این پژوهش مقایسه‌ای از نوع مورد شاهدی و جامعه آماری آن همه زنان بارداری بود که در سال ۱۳۹۵ به مراکز بهداشتی درمانی شهر همدان مراجعه کرده بودند. نمونه پژوهش شامل ۱۴۰ نفر بود که به صورت در‌دسترس در دو گروه ( ۷۰ زن با بارداری خواسته و ۷۰ زن با بارداری ناخواسته) قرار گرفتند. برای گردآوری اطلاعات از پرسشنامه مشخصات دموگرافیک و پرسشنامه استاندارد سلامت روانی SCL-۹۰R استفاده و داده‌های جمع‌آوری‌شده با آمار توصیفی، آزمون t- استیودنت دو گروه مستقل و مجذور کای تجزیه‌و‌تحلیل شد. برای این منظور از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه ۱۸ در سطح معنی‌داری کمتر از ۰/۰۵ استفاده شد. 
یافته‌ها: نتایج پژوهش نشان می دهد بین نمرات وسواس جبری، افکار پارانوئیدی، شکایت‌های جسمانی، حساسیت بین‌فردی، اضطراب، پرخاشگری، ترس مرضی و نمرات روان‌پریشی در دو گروه بارداری خواسته و ناخواسته تفاوت معنی‌داری وجود دارد (۰/۰۰۱>P)، اما بین نمره افسردگی در دو گروه بارداری خواسته و ناخواسته تفاوت معنی‌داری وجود ندارد (۰۵/P>۰). 
نتیجه‌گیری: استفاده از ابزارهای غربالگری برای تشخیص مشکلات روانی، مشاوره و حمایت‌های روانی از این زنان در کنار مراقبت‌های معمول در دوره بارداری و پس از زایمان تأکید می‌شود.
