مقدمه: بارداری از حساس‌ترین دوره‌های زندگی انسان است و به همین دلیل کیفیت زندگی زنان اهمیت ویژه‌ای دارد. آموزش فرا‌شناخت یکی از روش‌های بهبود بهزیستی روان‌شناختی و کیفیت زندگی زنان باردار هدف این پژوهش اثربخشی آموزش فراشناخت بر بهزیستی روان‌شناختی و کیفیت زندگی زنان باردار است. 
روش‌کار: روش این پژوهش نیمه‌تجربی از نوع طرح پیش‌آزمون پس‌آزمون با گروه کنترل و جامعه آماری آن همه زنان باردار تحت مراقبت‌های پزشکی مراجعه‌کننده به بیمارستان نمازی شهر شیراز در سال ۱۳۹۵ بود. حجم نمونه ۶۰ نفر از این جامعه بود که به روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی در دو گروه ۳۰‌نفره مداخله و کنترل جای گرفتند. برای جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از پرسشنامه بهزیستی روان‌شناختی و پرسشنامه کیفیت زندگی، و برای تجزیه‌و‌تحلیل داده‌ها از آزمون تحلیل کواریانس تک‌متغیره و SPSS نسخه ۲۲ استفاده شد. 
یافته‌ها: میانگین (انحراف معیار) سن دانش‌آموزان گروه مداخله ۲/۸±۳۳/۴ و گروه کنترل ۲/۹±۳۴/۷ بود. نتایج پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که میانگین پیش‌آزمون بهزیستی روان‌شناختی در گروه مداخله ۸۵/۶ بود که در پس‌آزمون به ۹۹/۲ افزایش یافت (۰/
۰۰۰۱>F=۴۴/۲۰ ، P)، اما میانگین پیش‌آزمون گروه کنترل ۸۴/۸ بود که در پس‌آزمون به ۸۵/۴ رسید (۰/۰۵>P). میانگین پیش‌آزمون کیفیت زندگی در گروه مداخله ۷۱/۲ بود که در پس‌آزمون به ۸۹/۷ افزایش یافت (۰/۰۰۰۱>P)، اما میانگین پیش‌آزمون گروه کنترل ۸۶/۵ بود که در پس‌آزمون به ۸۷/۱ رسید (۰/۰۵>F=۳۰/۷۰ ، P)
نتیجه‌گیری: نتیجه می‌گیریم که آموزش فراشناخت در افزایش بهزیستی روان‌شناختی و کیفیت زندگی زنان باردار مؤثر بوده است. نتایج این پژوهش می‌تواند برای بهبود بهزیستی روان‌شناختی و کیفیت زندگی زنان باردار استفاده شود.
