مقدمه: زنان نخست‌زا برای شروع و ادامه شیردهی با چالش‌‌های زیادی روبه‌رو هستند. خودکارآمدی شیردهی یک متغیر روان‌شناختی و انگیزشی مهم و در عین حال تعدیل‌پذیر برای تداوم تغذیه با شیر مادر است. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین تأثیر آموزش از طریق فضای مجازی بر خودکارآمدی شیردهی زنان نخست‌زا انجام شد.
روش‌کار: این مطالعه از نوع تجربی کلاسیک، روی ۶۵ نفر از زنان نخست‌زای ۲۸-۳۲ هفته انجام شد که در سال ۱۳۹۷ به مراکز آمادگی برای زایمان شهرستان شاهرود مراجعه کردند. از بین چهار مرکز بهداشتی این شهرستان، دو مرکز به طور تصادفی انتخاب شدند. سپس به شیوه در دسترس، ۶۵ نفر در دو گروه آزمون و کنترل قرار گرفتند. گروه آزمون، برنامه آموزش شیردهی را به طور حضوری و مجازی در ۷ گامِ ۶۰-۴۵ دقیقه‌ای دریافت کردند. داده‌ها با پرسش‌نامه‌‌های دموگرافیک و خودکارآمدی شیردهی جمع‌آوری و در نسخه ۲۱ از نرم‌افزار SPSS وارد شدند و با آزمون‌‌های آماری تی مستقل، تی زوجی و کوواریانس در سطح معنی‌داری ۰/۰۵>P تحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها: آزمون تی مستقل، اختلاف معنی‌داری بین میانگین خودکارآمدی دو گروه آزمون و کنترل، قبل از انجام مداخله نشان نداد (۰/۱=P) اما پس از مداخله بین دو گروه تفاوت معنی‌داری مشاهده شد (۰/۰۱>P).
نتیجه گیری: آموزش از طریق فضای مجازی می‌تواند به عنوان یک روش جدید و مؤثر در خودکارآمدی شیردهی زنان نخست‌زا استفاده شود. بنابراین، به نظر می‌رسد بتوان با آموزش مادران، عوامل مرتبط با خودکارآمدی شیردهی را اصلاح کرد و وضعیت شیردهی را بهبود بخشید.
