مقدمه: شایستگی بالینی پرستاران، عاملی مؤثر در تضمین کیفیت خدمات مراقبتی در دنیای پررقابت امروزی محسوب می‌شود؛ با توجه به نقش ارتباطی حیاتی پرستاران و ضعف قاطعیت موجود، جرأت‌ورزی به‌عنوان یک سبک ارتباطی می‌تواند نقش مؤثری در ارتقای عملکرد و  بهبود کیفیت مراقبت‌ها در شرایط پرتنش مراقبتی داشته باشد. این پژوهش با هدف تعیین تأثیر برنامه جرأت‌ورزی بر شایستگی بالینی پرستاران بخش‌های مراقبت ویژه انجام شد.
روش‌ کار: در یک کارآزمایی بالینی، ۷۰ نفر از پرستاران بخش‌های مراقبت ویژه بیمارستان‌های شهرکرد در سال ۱۳۹۷ در دو گروه آزمون و کنترل قرار گرفتند. گروه آزمون تحت آموزش مهارت جرأت‌ورزی طی شش جلسه ۱/۵ ساعته قرار گرفت، در حالی که گروه کنترل آموزش دریافت نکرد. در هر دو گروه، داده‌ها قبل، بلافاصله و سه ماه پس از مداخله با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه استاندارد شایستگی بالینی پرستاران CIRN به همراه اطلاعات دموگرافیک جمع‌آوری و با نسخۀ ۱۷ نرم‌افزار SPSS و آزمون‌های آماری تی‌مستقل، آنالیز واریانس با تکرار مشاهدات و کای‌اسکوئر تحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها: آزمون تی‌مستقل و کای‌اسکوئر، اختلاف معنی‌داری بین دو گروه آزمون و کنترل از نظر متغیرهای زمینه‌ای نشان نداد (۰/۰۵<P). تفاوت میانگین نمرات شایستگی بالینی بین دو گروه، پیش از مداخله تفاوت معنی‌داری را نشان نمی‌دهد، اما این تفاوت بلافاصله و سه ماه پس از مداخله، بر اساس آزمون تی‌مستقل معنی‌دار بود (۰/۰۵>P). آزمون  آنالیزواریانس با تکرار مشاهدات، تفاوت معنی‌داری را در روند تغییرات میانگین نمرات در سه مرحله سنجش (پیش، بلافاصله و سه ماه پس از مداخله) نشان داد (۰/۰۰۱>P).
نتیجه‌گیری: آموزش جرأت‌ورزی باعث افزایش شایستگی بالینی پرستاران بخش‌های مراقبت ویژه می‌شود؛ از این رو بهتر است در دورهای آموزشی پرستاران به کار گرفته ‌شود.
