مقدمه: دیسترس اخلاقی یکی از معضلات اخلاقی و پیچیده برای پرستاران شاغل در بخش‌های ویژه است. عملکرد شغلی مطلوب پرستار، ضامن کیفیت خدمات درمانی ارائه‌شده به بیماران و عامل مهمی در تسریع روند درمان و بهبودی بیماران است. بر این اساس مطالعه حاضر به‌منظور بررسی نقش پیشگویی‌کننده عملکرد شغلی بر دیسترس اخلاقی پرستاران انجام شده است.
روش کار: پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعه توصیفی-مقطعی است. ۲۵۶ نفر از پرستاران شاغل در بخش‌های مراقبت‌های ویژه بیمارستان‌های خصوصی و دولتی استان قزوین (از دی تا اسفند ۱۳۹۷) به روش نمونه‌گیری دردسترس در مطالعه شرکت کردند. برای جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از پرسشنامه مشخصات جمعیت‌شناختی، دیسترس اخلاقی اصلاح‌شده (Moral Distress Scale–Revised) و عملکرد شغلی شش‌بعدی (Six Dimension Scale of Nursing Performance) استفاده شد. تجزیه و تحلیل آماری نیز با استفاده از آزمون مدل رگرسیون خطی در نرم‌افزار کامپیوتری SPSS نسخه ۲۲ صورت گرفت.
یافته‌ها: نتایج این مطالعه نشان می‌دهد، میانگین امتیاز دیسترس اخلاقی پرستاران ۵۵/۶۳ ± ۱۱۷/۳۷ است. در مدل رگرسیون خطی چندمتغیره تنها بعد آموزشی عملکرد شغلی در هر دو حوزه دفعات (۲۶/۳۷- β=،۰/۰۰۱=P) و کیفیت (۱۵/۷۶- β =، ۰/۰۲۵=P) ارتباط معنی‌داری با دیسترس اخلاقی داشت.
نتیجه‌گیری: بر اساس نتایج مطالعه حاضر، بعد آموزشی عملکرد شغلی عامل پیشگویی‌کننده برای دیسترس اخلاقی است؛ بنابراین با اقداماتی از قبیل استفاده از پرستاران دارای سابقه آموزشی تخصصی در بخش‌های ویژه، توجه خاص به آموزش مسائل اخلاقی در مراکز آموزشی درمانی و برگزاری دوره‌های بازآموزی برای پرستاران می‌توان در کاهش دیسترس اخلاقی در محیط‌های بالینی مؤثر بود.
