Introduction& Objective : mor than half of the world’s death is caused by malnutrition which can be prevented by a suitable and practical method like anthropometric which is used for measuring children nutrition condition .

Materials & Methods: A descriptive survey for assessment health staff functions about children anthropometric in Hamadan health care centers . Was done ‘ Data collection tools were including questionnaire and checklist’which have been choosen by simple methods .

Results: Determing using structural standards in the field of tools and children anthropometric ‘ the results showed that most of research cases (47%) have had a medium structural standard .  More over determing processing anthropometric show that ‘ more than 78/5% cases have had a medium standard processing .

How ever ‘ one of the actions which is noticed in caring process is the first child reference to health care centers ‘ which in this research 53/8% of children age 1-2 month have been referred .

Conclusion: Generally most of health staff have had a medium function in structural standards and taking care in children anthropometric .

So ‘ it is suggested that educational programs for familiarizing children anthropometric fields must be done. Suitable facilities must be provided.
