Introduction& Objective : Disease special chronic disease  changes the way a patient lives . By identifying the effective factors on patients’ QOL, we can offer effective services & increase level of health  Quality of Life. This study was carried out in order to determine the effective factors on patients’ QOL who undergoing hemodialysis treatment in Maragheh Sina hospital .

Materials & Methods: The subjects of this study included all the 73 hemodialysis patients who were admitted to Sina hospital in Maragheh in 2006 . A questionnaire including demographic information & aspects of QOL such as physical, mental, social , economical & family was used . It was validated by content validity & reliability of the instrument was obtained by re-test . Findings of study showed  that the average ages of hemodialysis patients were 51.14. . 63% were male & 37% were female .

Results: Totale scores of for 80/8% of patients have medium score & 19/2% of them have weak score in physical condition 57/5%  of patient , in emotional condition 2/6 % , in socioeconomical condition (86/3 %) have poor condition but in family condition most of them (67/1%) have good condition . There was a significant between QOL & physical condition (correlation=0/683, p=0/000 ) ,QOL & emotional  condition (correlation=0.615 , p= 0.000) ,QOL & socioeconomical  condition ( correlation= 0.647 , p=0.000) & QOL &  family condition (correlation=0.699, p=0.000).  There wasn ’t  a  significant between QOL & sex. 

Conclusion: Most of patients had medium QOL & there is a significant between QOL &  difference aspects  of QOL . By identifying the effective factors on patients’ QOL  we can enhance the patients’ QOL.
