Introduction& Objective : Nowadays ,needle stick and injuries caused by sharp instruments are the most treateniy biological dangers in care givers .transmission of fatal diseases such as Aids and hepatitis is the consequence of these hazards.

Materials & Methods: determination of the characteristics and frequency of sharp instruments injuries and related protective measures to be considered
