Introduction& Objective : Mental health is one of the important parts of human health and it is more important in students. To assess mental health and related factors in nursing students in Qazvin University of Medical Sciences.

Materials & Methods: In a cross-sectional study, all (240) nursing students responded to the 28 items General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28).  In order to indicate severe mental health disorders in students, for the general scale score of 23 and for the subscales score of 14 were used as cut-off points.

Results: The results indicated that 36.9% of students suffered from mental health disorders. Mental health disorders prevalence was 23.8% for men and 38.3% for women. The rates in single students and married students were 38% and 26.9% respectively.
